Environmental management has been a core competency of SRK since its establishment, and our environmental and social services skills have now diversified to meet the needs of the global mining industry and address evolving international trends. We adapt studies to deal effectively with the unique circumstances of each project and its associated decision-making processes. Our history in the mining and natural resource sector enables us to quickly discern potential issues faced by our clients relating to the full scope of mining projects including processing facilities, transport infrastructure, power and water supply systems, dredging of waterways and resettlement.

By partnering our clients during project development, we help clients avoid or minimise impacts and identify effective management measures for inclusion in the project design. Our environmental and social impact assessment experience is complemented by the successful undertaking of baseline and compliance monitoring, auditing and due diligence studies.
